Netplan launch new Virtual Server System

Netplan today have launched a new range of Virtual
servers aimed at the market between shared and dedicated
server. Technical director Philip Thomas explained.
"Our new VS system really does give you a full
dedicated server in a virtual environment, everything
about the OS is the same. So for the windows users for
example, you have terminal services access just like
you would on a dedicated server. You can fully manipulate
the OS for sites that require full functionality of
IIS, the linux OS's again are full virtual systems so
you have a true root user unlike what other ISP's offer
as Virtual Servers. You really can do anything you could
do on a dedicated box but without the added expense
of a dedicated server".

a view to reducing nuisance mail for customers. Filters
will be used in the future to minimise spamming and
streamline mail systems.
