What is Netplan Telecom

Netplan-Telecom's Hosted IP Telephony offers all the functionality and benefits of a 21st Century fixed line telephone system, such as Voicemail, Conference Calling, Music-on-hold, Call Recording, Hunt Groups, and CTI features, without having to install a traditional PABX system. The services are accessed over dedicated business ADSL packages and leased lines.

Hosted IP is fast becoming the market leader in business telecoms in the UK, due to its appeal to start up companies, those moving premises and multi-site operations making high volumes of internal calls. Hosted IP is growing so quickly that is forecast to pass the 3 million seat mark in UK businesses by the end of 2012. As the shift towards other hosted solutions such as Office Software and E-Mail continues, so the speed of adoption will increase. Reports vary, but forecasts are predicting between 30% and 90% of new installs from 2011 onwards will be Hosted IP.

Netplan-Telecom is our own bespoke system, based on the Asterisk open source telephony platform that runs in the Linux environment. We have extensively developed our software using our 15 years of hosting experience to provide a secure, highly resilient environment with multiply redundant connectivity and power, just like we do when hosting websites and e-commerce solutions for clients of ours such as Thomas Cook Corporate Foreign Exchange or Pinewood Studios.
